I really enjoy the picture with all the campers running after the earth ball. It just really shows the fun that campers have while at camp. It just really puts a smile on my face. I also really like the photo with the Canoe pointing to the lake. It shows/reminds us of the peace and love God shares with us.

Crossing the bridge brings EVERYTHING you state. I can remember as a counselor in 1991 crossing the bridge for the first time and having my life changed for the better!

Years later when I cross the bridge I feel a sense of relaxation and a focus on Christ. A place where my children CAN run safely and see twenty year olds excited and on fire for Christ.

Camp is the BEST place in the world! I am thankful that for the last 18 years I have crossed that bridge to a very special place.

Thanks for the great post!

The Panoramic. Seeing this picture reminds me of the many years I attended Camp. I often noticed that dusk was always the most wonderous time. That was when all the singing and praying, hugging and laughing was done. Suddenly it was as if God was next to me saying "THIS is what I Created."

I like 1, 8, and 10. I couldn't pick just 2. I hope you get a lot of votes!

I am looking forward to coming up for the golf outing in a couple weeks. I won't be golfing, but Tessa and I plan to have lots of fun as she explores camp on her feet for the first time.

Woody,
I too say, Camp Luther rocks!
Back in the "Stone Age" when I was a teenager, I went to Camp Luther, and stayed in the wonderful ol' dorms. It was SO much fun...Years later as an adult (but a child forever at heart) I attended my 1st women's retreat. I met many wonderful women who have shared my faith in Christ. Each year we still meet at Camp Luther...and it is so wonderful to be in such an awesome place.
Camp Luther is the place to be.

Woody-

Great article to start your blogging life!

Camp is worth it!

While I became a camp counselor in 1991 to change the lives of youth (which, By the Grace of God hopefully happened) Camp Luther changed my life.

I did meet my wife, now of 12 years, as she was a counselor at Camp Luther.

Camp is worth whatever the price may be!
